Our Story

We're just a family of five that love animals.  We've had a little bit of everything throughout the years, but found our true passion in raising sheep and goats.  We also currently have Miniature Horses, Horses, Rabbits, and Dogs. 
Our sheep and goat story really started in 2012.  Before we knew it, we hopped in the truck and drove to Illinois one day in the middle of August.  Our first ever sheep were a group of misfits and some not so common breeds (Texels, Romanovs, and a Dorper ram).  This group was about 30 head and gave us an amazing start into the sheep industry.  But, this isn't just where the sheep story started.  The goat story begun down in Illinois too, at the same farm our first group of sheep came from even.  Our very first little doeling wasn't planned at all.  In fact, while the sheep were getting loaded into our trailer, little miss Cami decided to start a whole story of her own.  At only 3 months old, Cami jumped into the trailer with the sheep and decided it was time to go to a new home.  Before we knew it, we added a couple more doelings and a buckling.  Cami definitely had plans of her own that day, and it turned out to be an incredible story for us. 
Our Babydoll Sheep story started only a few months after we fell in love with our very first group.  One day we found an ad on Craigslist for some cute little Babydoll Sheep.  Not knowing much about the breed at the time besides the fact that we were in love, we jumped in the truck and headed to get Ada and Shiloh.  After a few more additions and LOTS of learning, we are here.  It's crazy to look back on the foundation of our whole story, the memories we've had, the things we've learned, and the harder lessons we had along the way, and we wouldn't change a thing.
